Not as big as it sounds. But still we were there for 5 hours. Took a picnic. Kids loved it age 6, 3 and 14 months. Not sure children over 11 would like it maybe for younger children. We all had a lovely time and my girls had a really good time. All the play areas and bikes and animals was a good variety.

It's definitely worth the money. It wasn't too noisy either like a lot of parks as my daughter doesn't do loud noises. She loved stroking the rabbits and brushing the miniture horses. They cater for all different ages with the play equipment. The train was good and so was the duck racing. We had a bite to eat in the cafe and was impressed at the chalk board tables and the toys to keep the kids amused, did help a lot while eating. All in all a good day out.

We love a family day out here! Gypsy wood has lots of different activities going on to keep children of different ages entertained. The entry price includes a miniature steam train ride around the park which is a hit with our little ones.

Fantastic Christmas experience with the kids. Also extraordinary value. We paid for a family ticket for 4 of us. That gave us free drinks in the café. There was also little mince pies with the drink. The visit with Santa was included in the fee and that was with a gift which was age appropriate for both kids. And there was a ride on the train that was included too. Santa was not creepy, and whilst we only speak English, he was a lovely very Welsh Sion Corn so Welsh speakers will be right at home too with their children.

Fantastic family Christmas time. Visited here on one of the Christmas specials and had a great time. Really good value for money as everything included in the entrance price. Great facilities, highly recommend to anyone with young children. Five stars.
